Occupational Communication
801-310

This class integrate writing, reading, listening, and speaking skillsthrough occupational applications. Students produce written documents, synthesize information, give and follow oral and written instructions, apply listening skills, create questions, deliver oral presentations, participate in group interaction and engage in job search strategies.

group workStudents use the Occupational Communication Module 801-310 to learn and demonstrate job search skills such as writing resumes and cover letters. The module also helps students learn employment interview strategies and skills which they will demonstrate in a mock employment interview. A variety of instructor designed handouts will help students demonstrate competencies in job-specific listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
